Black walnut veneer is one of our most popular engineered wood veneers. In some regions, it is referred to as reconstituted veneer, recomposed veneer, or man-made veneer.
Engineered veneers are made from natural, fast-growing, renewable wood species such as Ayous, Basswood, or Poplar. These veneers are produced using compression molding, where different colors of dyed wood veneers are layered and pressed together.
Black walnut veneer maintains the natural beauty of wood but is free from natural wood defects, making it highly advantageous for manufacturing and interior design. It is widely used for doors, furniture, and interior applications. Another key benefit is its consistent color, pattern, and grain structure, making it a preferred choice among millworkers, designers, and architects—especially for interior door manufacturing.
How to Order Engineered Veneers
Thickness Options:
- 0.15mm / 0.2mm / 0.35mm / 0.45mm / 0.5mm / 0.6mm
Choose the required veneer thickness. Our standard stock size is 2500x640x0.5mm, but we can produce custom thicknesses upon request. For veneers thinner than 0.2mm, we recommend adding fleece backing or paper backing for enhanced durability.
Length Options:
- 2030mm / 2200mm / 2500mm / 2800mm / 3100mm / 3400mm
The standard length for engineered veneers is 2500mm, but we can accommodate custom lengths up to 3400mm.
Width Options:
- 640mm / 830mm / 1280mm
The standard width for engineered veneers is 640mm. However, veneers can be jointed to create widths of 1250mm or 1280mm.
Pattern Options:
- Oak / Walnut / Teak / Ash / Cherry / Zebrano / Ebony / Maple / Beech / Makore
- Rosewood / Sapele / Qiuxiang / Apricot / Wenge / Elm / Pearl / Burl / Exotic
